What Maple has said
These facts are from Maple’s own site (growmaple.com), read on 24 September 2026. If Maple updates them, believe Maple.
- Maple has been acquired by Wander and will sunset on 31 December 2026.
- Your account stays active until that day. After that it is closed and inaccessible.
- Your data stays fully accessible until 31 December 2026. Maple asks you to export or transfer it before then.
- After shutdown, Maple says all data is deleted with no way to recover it — including connections to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and TeamSnap.
- Annual Maple+ subscriptions will no longer renew. Monthly subscriptions stay active until 31 December 2026.
What Sova can bring in
Sova does not read a Maple export file. There is no one-tap Maple importer, and we will not pretend there is. What you can do today:
- Bring calendars already on this iPhone into Sova — iCloud, Google, Outlook, and any calendar iOS already shows.
- Open a calendar file (.ics) from Mail, Files, or Messages and review the events before they are saved.
- Start a shared list (Holiday gifts, Potluck, Trip packing, Moving house) and invite with a QR. Anyone can join from a link — they do not need Sova installed to read a shared copy in the browser.
- Keep work, home, and school in separate groups, so one Home Screen widget can show the day without mixing them.
What this page does not claim
- Sova cannot import Maple chores, meals, or lists from a Maple file. Copy those by hand, or share a new list.
- Sova is iPhone-first. There is no Android app and no web editor for your private plans.
- Private groups stay on this iPhone. Shared groups update only for people you invite.

Export from Maple while you still can. Then open Sova, add the calendars already on your iPhone, and make one shared list for the next thing you plan together.
